Sailing Adventures

edukids.jpg (11685 bytes)We offer an unparalleled educational sailing experience through the British Columbia Gulf Islands for school groups of up to 42 students and teachers.  Our fleet of three large and comfortable sailing vessels is CSI (Coast Guard Safety Inspected) approved and the skippers are all Coast Guard Certified Masters with many years of experience at sea..

The S.E.A. program is very flexible and able to accommodate whatever educational needs are required by your school group and also allows our on board biologist to determine routes based on seasonal changes in wildlife habitat and migration.

In addition to the latest in safety equipment, we carry scientific equipment on board to enhance your learning experience, including hydrophones, for listening to killer whales and dolphins, microscopes for learning about marine micro biology and night lights for viewing the nocturnal marine environment. We tour marine biology research stations and have first nations interpreters guide the groups on nature and cultural walks in the coastal rain forests, pointing out petroglyphs, cultural sites, and showing us how the first peoples lived on this abundant coast.

Students will have the opportunity to develop team management, self confidence and on the water safety skills, while discovering the unique and rich marine life found within coastal environments. Groups have fun swimming, and exploring the intertidal zones and beaches.

Please tour the site,
there is a lot of information on all aspects of our program and on B.C.'s  coast and wildlife in general.
